This is not always an easy topic to write about. I have been considering writing this blog post for quite some time now, but I haven't found it in me to write it. I have now just pushed past it. So, here you go. I will finally talk about writing FanFictions.
I have written many stories in this genre. The photos above are the covers of the few that I am actually trying to continue and work on. However there have been several more that just ended up in the trash. I started writing FanFictions when I was a bit younger when I was really into One Direction, but I got rid of all the ones I wrote.
As I grew up, a bit, I began to write better stories, so I figured that I could write better FanFictions as well. As it turned out, I could. That's when my taste in music also evolved, and then I started my Brendon Urie FanFiction. I really like that one, and I think it is going well. It was on Wattpad for a little while, but now I'm editing it.
Around that same time I realized that I can be rather demented if I so wish. That's when I got into Happy tree Friends. Those of you that have seen it before, will either think that it is the creepiest show ever, and the other part of you (the more disturbed ones) will think that it's kinda funny. Personally, I qualify with the group of more disturbed people. I like the show. I just found out that they have the whole first season available for free on YouTube. I have a favorite show couple Flippy and Flakey. Sadly, I wasn't able to find any good FanFictions about them available online. So, I figured that I could write a better one. I'm trying. . . It's harder then I thought it would be. Maybe that's why there aren't any good ones on the Internet. It's rather difficult to write a story about characters of a show that don't even talk and aren't even slightly romantically connected, at least it is for me.
Then, more recently, I figured that maybe the fact that I don't really like them anymore I could write a better (and less stereotypical) One Direction FanFiction. I'm liking it so far, and I think that I am going to like it. I used one of my ideas for one of my original stories, and if anything it will be interesting.

Below you can find four Youtube links.
- The first one is Panic! At The Disco's newest single (They're the band that includes Brendon Urie): Hallelujah.
- The next two are part one and part two of my favorite Happy Tree Friends episode: As You Wish, just in case you've never seen any of their episodes before. BEWARE! Only watch the episode if you are okay with high amounts of violence! Watch at your own risk. You have now been warned, so don't blame me if you don't like what you see.
- The final one is my favorite One Direction song: Over Again, from their second album. A little while after they released that album, I stopped liking them. Their music isn't half bad, but it's just not my favorite anymore.

I'm sure you didn't think that the only reason I wrote this rather long blog post just to promote my writings, or even just to show you some of the things I like. I wanted to give you all some tips that might help in your own writing. Behold, the real reason I've written all this, my top 5 tips and tricks to writing a good FanFiction.
Also keep in mind that these are all merely just suggestions, and they are all my opinions. It is totally okay if you disagree with something I say, and if you do please comment.

- You need to do your research.
- Be unique and creative.
Try not to write some basic FanFic. Write something that no one else has done before. Anyone can write about the sappy love story where you met and fell in love the second your eyes met his.
- Keep writing.
I don't think I can stress this enough. If you stop writing you could very well forget all of your plans for where the story was going. Please learn from my mistakes.
- Read other FanFictions that are on the same topic.
This will show you what you could do with your plot line. This also goes along with #2, if you see that the past four FanFics you read have to do with kidnapping, it would be in your best interest to stay away from kidnapping in your FanFic.
- Write what you love.
This is a basic tip for writing. If you write what you love, then it will never be an update that you dread writing. You won't have to write for your readers, you'll be able to just write for you.
